Terence J. Sheehan, D.D.S.

Terry passed away on August 9, 2018 from a long illness in Mountlake Terrace, WA. He was 77.

Born September 23, 1940 to Robert and Pauline Sheehan and was raised on Beacon Hill area of Seattle.

Attended Grade School at St. George, and O'Dea High School. Attended the University of WA. and the School of Dentistry.

After two years in the U. S. Army Dental Corps he joined Dr. John Deines on Capitol Hill in private practice. Then, in 1976 he moved his practice to Lake City and retired October 1, 2006.

He lived in the Wedgwood Community of Seattle from 1967-1988, with his family of four children; John, Mary Lou, Michelle, Anne Marie and their mother Mary Beth. Terry was very active during that time. He served as a member of the Wedgwood Community Club and became President of the Club. He also served on the education board at Our Lady of the Lake Grade School and Blanchet High School.

His biggest claim to fame was coaching youth soccer for 15 years, winning the State Championship in 1979. Terry also coached Special Olympics soccer in 1988 and his team won which was probably the highlight of their lives. He was very proud of them. Terry also played soccer for several years.

He is survived by his wife Glenda; Son John (Pam), Grandchildren Melody, Jestin, Kellie; Daughters Mary Lou Williams (Curt), Granddaughters Taryn and Tanna; Michelle Serres, Granddaughter Kristina

and Grandson Kyle. Daughter Anne Marie predeceased in 1991. Stepsons Michael and Thomas LaFreniere / Step-grandson Finn. Sister Robin Ehli (Bob) and Brother Paul (VerLen); 1 niece and 3 nephews. Surviving Uncle Leo Sheehan and many cousins.

Terry was dearly loved by many and we all will miss him very much.

Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic

Church on Saturday September 29,

2018 @ 11:00 am 8900 35th Ave. NE

Seattle, 98115 with a reception following at the Church.

Memorial donations in Terry's honor can be made to the Puget Sound Kidney Ctrs. Foundation 1019 Pacific Ave. Everett, Wa. 98201, and Evergreen Health Hospice Care Foundation 12040 NE 128th St. MS#5 Kirkland, Wa. 98034-3098.

Our hearts hurt for our precious daughter-in-law, Melody and her Dad, John when we heard they had lost Grandpa and a father. There are no words except we care and pray for peace in your hearts as you celebrate the life of this loved one on the 29th.
