Thank you so much for greeting me with kindness and a piece of apple sucker everyday after school when I walk from forest ridge campus to the parking lot, for the past three years. I still vividly recall the times where he made my days with his words of kindness. My deep condolence and appreciation goes and to you and your family. Rest in peace Tony, I will keep you in my prayer during this time.

My heart aches upon hearing the news of Tony's passing and now reading the obituary. Tony was the bus driver all four years of my daughter attendance at Forest Ridge(currently a senior) The sweetest soul who greeted his riders with a candy apple sucker and the patient spirit he possessed during times I was running late to get my daughter to his stop location on time. During the Holidays and at the end of the year, we treated Tony with a gift card and what was seemingly his favorite candy; a Twix! I appreciated Tony over the course of four years and his gentle and friendly smile will remain embedded in my thoughts. My prayers are with the family during this time.

Tony has been one of the kindest, brightest soul who always treats everyone with warmth, generosity, and so much love. He is my bus driver throughout my entire high school carrier. He always asks how we are doing, and gives a little speech before dropping us off: forest ridge ladies are the best. You can do anything because you all work so hard and are so amazing. Be good, stay safe, and I wish you have a wonderful day. He will always check in with me whenever I am having a bad day or when I was alone on the bus. I remember tearing up to his words because how kind and encouraging he is. I still have the treats Tony gave me till this day.
Tony will always remain a special place in my heart, and in our community. We miss you already.

Our deepest sympathy to Tony's family. My daughter is a student at Forest Ridge and Tony was her bus driver for several years. He was so kind and friendly. He had a smile for everyone, and many times , a piece of candy too. And he was always willing to wait a minute in case we were running late. The girls all adored him. He will be truly missed.

Tony was my bus driver for Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart for 5 years. He would greet me every morning and ask how I am. Every Valentines Day I would give him some candy and he was always appreciative. He was a kind spirit who always cared about us girls, making sure we were safe.

Tony thank you so much for being a constant in my daughter and nieces life as you safely drove them to and from school, visited with them, gave lollipops on Fridays. They always speak fondly of you and cared for you. The contribution you made to our Seattle community will be felt for many years.

Pa made every guest feel like family. And, he made the best spaghetti I have ever had. If I were to guess his secret ingredient, I would say it was love. Because he loved his family- it showed.

I grew up on Beacon Hill and the Trippy boys, Tony and Joe, were some of my best friends. I knew the family well. The Trippy home was a gathering place for us and for other kids in the neighborhood. I haven't seen Tony for some years but I think about him a lot.
Every time I drive down Beacon Avenue I always slow down, look at his home we're we grew up and remember the good times.
God Bless you Tony.

Sorry to hear of Tony's passing. My sympathy to the family. Knew Tony at Seattle Prep the class of 1957. We played football together and she was one of the fastest backs we had. When Tony was around there was always something fun going on. He was one who showed up at our class reunions so we could all reminisce about old times and catch up on the current times. RIP Tony

I well remember my one visit with Tony, when we began chatting in the bar of Mandarin Kitchen in Des Moines. I asked if he had gone to St. George's or Beacon school, and he instantly knew I was from the "hood." He was extremely proud of the fact that all of his sons graduated from Seattle Prep. It was a convivial half hour or so. Later, I tried to contact him to have dinner with us, but was unable to find him. Blessings to the family. You can be very proud and thankful for Tony.

My sympathies to his family. Tony was an original. I coached against him (he always won) and despite the talent of his teams and his coaching wisdom he never demeaned his opponent. As a dad at Seattle Prep when Joe and Gino were playing along with my son, I often sat next to him while watching the games, rooting and talking about the situations. He had a great sense of humor, and I always appreciated his expressions of respect for my son's efforts and those of his teammates. Tony was a competitor, devoted to his own boys, but he also had an appreciation for talent, effort and the integrity of others. I always looked forward to seeing him on game day. May he rest in peace.

I remember playing football with Tony. He was one of the Prepsters that came out of West Seattle. As a former AYSO soccer coach and high school referee, I see that we shard an interest in soccer.
