My heart goes out to the Forrest Family. Tyler and I were good childhood friends and truly wish we had stayed in touch into adulthood. I have the best memories of Tyler and myself in the neighborhood and though it was so long ago I will never forget them. I will pray for you and family. God Bless.

Dear Tyler,
I'll never forget you as a sweet little boy and then young man who loved animals and children, and was so kind-hearted, yet tough enough to stand up for himself and have his say.
I'm sorry it went wrong, little cousin. It's almost an accident that way. I'm most sorry that you didn't get over this hump.
You'll live on here in our hearts, as your heart bears your soul on past this mortal world.
I hope to meet you again some happy day!
-Your Loving Cousin Bill

Dear Dave, Barb, Craig & Alec,
Words really can't express our heart-felt sorrow for the loss of your dear boy. It's been a long time since we have seen Tyler, but we still have vivid memories of him and the rest of the boys playing together in our neighborhood.
We pray that you and your family will find peace in knowing that Tyler is with our Lord in heaven and one day you will see him again.

Tyler,
We shared so many great times together. You're legacy is everlasting in all of us. Every song I hear reminds me of you because we have listened to them all. You always loved a good live jam too. During dark times you always had a way to cheer me up with some priceless dialogue. Always reminding us not to sweat the small stuff and keep our heads up. Share your good spirit at your next destination and I know you'll leave a brilliant lasting impression there as well...
All your friends love you. I love you and you will be sorely missed in this life... but we'll all meet again - I know it.

When my family moved to Washington in 1993 I remember Tyler introducing himself to my family while we were pulling into our driveway for the first time with our moving truck before we were even parked. I remember he said something about how odd it was that we were in jeans and sweatshirts in August :). He quickly became my first friend in Washington. We were friends and teammates for our childhood years and I have countless memories playing soccer, roller hockey, baseball, and many games of flashlight tag back on 177th Ave NE with Tyler. My thoughts are with Dave, Barb, Craig, and Alec during this time of incomprehensible tragedy.

As a cousin, I spent a lot of time with Tyler (and Craig and Alec) when were were kids. Tyler was into baseball cards, sports, toys, and video games back then and was always running, throwing balls, and tumbling around with his brothers. Since I moved away from the Northwest a decade ago, I caught glimpses of Tyler growing up during visits back home, and last time I saw him I remember thinking that he was no longer that little boy... He was so tall now, he had a presence, and he seemed to be on his own path, but at the same time he still had the things that made him Tyler. I will always remember Tyler for his sweet, soft eyes, a smile that lit up his whole face, and for the sound of his voice - both as a child and an adult, his voice was his own.
It is unbearably sad that he is gone. I am especially thinking about the people who have lifted him up and fiercely loved him all along, above all his parents, and his brothers. May we feel God's tender, steadfast love as we share this grief with Him. Much love, Catie
