Virginia Beyersdorf Obituary

Virginia D. BEYERSDORF Virginia lived her entire life in Seattle only moving to Auburn two years ago to be near her family. She was a homemaker and mother to her family. As an active member of the Rainier Beach Methodist church for 55 years she enjoyed her church affiliation and the many friends she made over the years. Virginia and her husband Rudy were active in the Rainier View Community Club for many years and worked to support club and community activities. Virginia was a member of the Auburn Sons of Italy Lodge #1955 and enjoyed her Italian friends and family. She enjoyed visiting with her many friends by telephone and was always supportive when they needed her help. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Beyersdorf, daughter Janet Beyersdorf, brothers Robert and Lee Harvey, and sister Mildred Longennecker. She is survived by her son Ronnie, daughter-in-law Rosetta Beyersdorf, and grandchildren Kenny Beyersdorf and wife Sarah, Erika Beyersdorf and Amy Beyersdorf. She is also survived by her brother Col. Robert Rhodes of Atlanta, Georgia. Donations may be made to the Auburn Sons of Italy Scholarship Foundation or the Rainier Beach Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Rainier Beach United Methodist Church, 5500 - S. Roxbury, Renton, WA. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Park, SeaTac, WA. Visitation will be at Price - Helton Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, from 1 to 8 p.m.
