William Bardon Obituary

William C. (Bill) Bardon

March 8, 1945 ~ October 18, 2017

William Bardon, caring husband and father, brother, friend, neighbor, and employer. For his family and friends, when Bill's heart stopped, ours broke.

Bill founded, owned, and operated Statewide Rent-A-Fence of Washington for 42 years. His honesty, integrity, and generosity, in both personal and professional life, were unparalleled. He retired this summer, and was delighted to start making plans and work on hobbies. Bill had a quiet, but firm, Christian faith. And, along with the people in his life, loved classic cars, sailboats, and his ever-present German Shepherds.

He is survived by his wife Mary Bardon; his daughter and her husband, Dawn Bardon and James van Welzen; sister and her husband, Connie and David Gotzh; nephews, nieces, and a host of in-laws.

It has taken me over two years to write anything about you. You were taken far too soon, and I was at a loss for words, as there are no right ones to describe the amount of kindness and generosity you shared with everyone. You are dearly missed and I often look up to the clouds and ask how you and Grandma are doing. I am sure you guys are off playing with every German Shepard in heaven.

Bill was a kind and generous man. I worked for Bill for 10 years and he always showed an interest in his employees personal lives. The annual Christmas party was more of a family gathering than an employee function. We shared a love for German Shepherds. Deepest sympathies to his wife, Mary, his family and friends. rest in peace.
