JOHN ROBERT SELVEY
SEDALIA — John Robert Selvey, age 70, of Sedalia, died on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born on March 18, 1947 in Sedalia son of Donald and Lily Desborough Selvey.
On May 3, 1969 in Sedalia John married Janice Hill and she preceded him in death on July 29, 2004 John graduated from Smith-Cotton High School. He worked at Colie's on South Limit and later for Maxion Wheels in Sedalia. John enjoyed hunting, racing midget cars and demolition derby's. He also loved spending time with his family.
John is survived by two daughters; Melinda Watkins (Matt) of Sedalia and Hope Hoehns (Shawn) of Grandview, MO, two brothers; Dave Selvey (Sue) and Eddie Selvey (Cathy) both of Sedalia, one sister; Donna Woolery (Gene) of Sedalia, one grandson; Addison Selvey.
He was preceded by his parents and one sister Susan Bradley.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Veale officiating. Friends may call after 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home with visitation from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to donor's choice.

Sorry for your !less. I have it seen John since Highpoint school. He could knock a softball over the roof from the old ball diamond. What a good man!
