Julius Antoine Obituary
Julius Gail Antoine, of Oakland, CA, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home.
He was born September 20, 1937, in Sedalia, MO, one of five children of Marie and Julius Antoine.
On May 30, 1981, he married Melodie Limosnero, who survives of the home.
Julius served in the United States Marine Corps, which is what took him to California. After discharge, he became employed with the Southern Pacific Railroad. He worked 40 years as a switchman with the railroad.
He enjoyed traveling, coin collecting, fishing, and finer things in life.
He is survived by his wife, Melodie Antoine, of Oakland, CA; daughter Juanita (Bob) Nicholson of Maryville, TN, Melinda (Denny) Vinson of Sedalia, MO; step-daughter Marife (David) of Benicia, CA; five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Charles Duane Antoine, Gerald Robert Antoine, Darrell Lee Antoine, and a sister Juanita Mae Eklund.
