Kimberly Stephens Obituary
LINCOLN - Kimberly Anne Stephens, 37, of rural Lincoln, died Monday, January 6, 2014, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia. She was born on June 30, 1976, at Paget Parish, Bermuda, a daughter of Lionel Burton Peter and Laura Anne (Johnson) Stephens.
In 1994, she graduated from Mt. St. Agnes Academy in Bermuda and moved with her family to Lincoln, Missouri. She was active in raising show rabbits and competing across the United States. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center in Sedalia and was active in the children's programs.
Kimberly was a happy, cheerful, and selfless person who was very devoted to her family and friends and loved her Facebook time.
She is survived by her mother, Laura Stephens of rural Lincoln; her brother, Peter Stephens, Jr. and his wife Misty of rural Lincoln; her granny, Rita Johnson of the state of Florida; two nieces, Alex Spinar and Maddi Cook; one nephew, Nick Cook; and her faithful companions, Duke, Stinky, and Toby.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lionel Burton Peter Stephens and her grandfather, Raymond Johnson.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church Celebration Center in Sedalia with Pastor Jim Downing officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be sent to the donor's choice of charity.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Laura and Peter, There seems to be nothing we can say that will take away the sting of Kimberly's passing. Please know that the Stephens in Orlando love you guys and are so sorry over the loss of Kimberly's presence in your life. Oh my heart is breaking. Kim you were my best friend for years. I am in shock. I miss you so much. I am so sorry for your family's loss.
