Mary Voss Obituary
She was born March 23, 1927 in Rich Fountain, a daughter of William and Dora (Krieg) Kliethermes. She was married in Rich Fountain in Sacred Heart Church to Sylvester Voss on May 30, 1950 in a double wedding with her sister, Catherine, to Herbert Bish.
She was employed at Tweedie's shoe manufacturing in Jefferson City, and later at Town & Country Shoes in Sedalia. She was a homemaker. Her hobbies were crocheting, fishing, walking and traveling.
Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Voss, of Sedalia; a son, Gregory Voss, a grandson, Dustin Voss, and a granddaughter, Britney Voss, all of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Kay Voss and a granddaughter, Ashley Rose Voss, both who died in infancy.
Graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2008 with the Rev. Jack Mentges officiating. Pallbearers will be VFW Post 2591 members. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to VFW Post 2591 or the charity of the donor's choice in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be offered online at www.mclaughlinfuneralchapel.com
