Pearl Viebrock Obituary
She was born April 20, 1917, in Morgan County, a daughter of Henry and Emma Stoecker Bottcher. On Feb. 19, 1939, she married Elroy F. Viebrock, who died Jan. 14, 1999.
Mrs. Viebrock was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking.
Surviving are a daughter, Vicki Esser, of Sedalia; a brother, Leo Bottcher, of Sedalia; two sisters, Mildred Hoard and Laverna Yost, both of Sedalia; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Della Marie Ficken; and two brothers, Herbert and Nelson Bottcher.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Pastor Ken Tatkenhorst officiating.
Casket bearers will be Alan Esser, Max Esser, Scott Ficken, Robert Hawn, Gerry Miller, Terry O'Bier and Kenton Simmons.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

I, Carolyn Oehrke Bauer, cousin of Mary Frances Viebrock (Bugh) and childhood friend of Della Marie Viebrock (Ficken) have fond memories of going to visit Elroy and Pearl and Della on their farm at Florence with Mary F. and her parents.
Then, the summer of 1955, this country girl spent a whole week in the big city of Sedalia when Mary F. and I stayed with Della. Pearl was such a gracious hostess; hopefully she had as much fun as we did. Each time I saw her, there was always that great smile and warm greeting; even in these last years.
My thoughts and prayers are with each one of her family members as you miss her in your own way(s).
