Ronald H. Heinaman
SEDALIA — Ronald H. Heinaman, 70, of Sedalia, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born April 8, 1947, in Sedalia, son of the late Henry Heinaman, Jr. and Hazel Earleene Forbes Heinaman. On August 18, 1984, in Sedalia, he married Sharon Freedle, who survives of the home.
He was raised in Green Ridge and was a 1965 graduate of Green Ridge High School. He served his country honorably in the US Army from 1968-1970 and worked as a mechanic while he was stationed in Germany.
Ron was a delivery driver for Air Gas, service manager for Bill Greer Motors and Bryant Motor Company, and delivery driver/warehouse worker for SMC Electric until he retired December 1, 2017.
He was a member of VFW Post 2591, Elks Lodge 125 and the Sedalia Shrine Club. He was an avid collector of memorabilia including John Wayne, Elvis, Coca Cola, NASCAR and Budweiser. He enjoyed vacations in Branson and taking drives with his German Shepherd, Geronimo. Ron loved his family, enjoyed his grandchildren, especially teaching granddaughter, Victoria, how to drive and watching her ATA Karate classes.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by two daughters, Christina Lor (Bee), of Florence, and Lisa Thomas (Garry), of Kingsville; two step-daughters, Lori Thomas (David), of Lincoln, and Lindi Brownfield, of Warrensburg; a sister, Virginia "Ginny" Arnett (Dale), of Sedalia; nephews Jeff Arnett (Mary), of Sedalia, and Clint Arnett (Melanie), of KS; cousins Mary Ann Bishop (David), Bonnie Robb, Rose Marie Robb, Bill Robb (Shirley), Sheila Durrill-Heinaman and their families; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Heinaman, Jr. and Hazel Rush; step-father, Henry Beck; half-sister Rita Heinaman; brother-in-law Wayne Freedle; uncles Ray Heinaman and Lavern; and aunts Helen Robb, May, Opal and Fern.
Funeral service will be 2 pm, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy May officiating. Pallbearers will be Bee Lor, Garry Thomas, Cory Acklin, Bryan Buso, Kyle Herrick, Scott Long, Rodney Countryman and Clint Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Green, Chris Squires, Kaden Wissman, Dale Arnett, Clint Arnett and Jeff Arnett. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors at graveside.
Visitation will take place noon until time of service at the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter or Bothwell Foundation (for the Cannon Cancer Center) in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be offered online at www.mclaughlinfuneralchapel.com.

What a blessing Ron was to everyone who knew him. He was the best neighbor we could of ever asked for. Kind, considerate,caring and loved his family deeply and his dogs. His life is such a loss to the community and his friends. We love you Ron and know you are up in heaven celebrating your awesome life.
