BOWLING GREEN - Earl Lee Pritchett, 82 of Bowling Green, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg on August 7, 2025. He was born on October 24, 1942 in Harris County, TX to Barney L. and Hazel V. (Buchanan) Pritchett. Following graduation from high school, Earl served his country in the United States Navy. He married Constance "Connie" Marie Layman on September 8, 1993 in Hot Springs AR. Earl and Connie blended their two families and celebrated nearly 32 years of marriage together.
Earl worked as a CNC worker for TRW Automotive's, a subsidiary of Kelsey Hayes of Fremont, OH for 20 plus years before he retired. Always remaining a proud veteran, Earl also enjoyed wood carving, photography, and playing and listening to the music of various string instruments. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family.
In addition to his wife Connie, Earl is survived by his children: Mark (Becky) Pritchett of TX, Cindy (Gary) Youngker of Defiance, Kevin Olson of TN, Jennifer (Don) Thomas of Luckey, and daughter Laura. Numerous grand and great-grandchildren, brother; Larry of TX, nephew; Brian Nighswander, nieces:
Leanne, Amy, and Robbin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister; Marilyn Tuckerman.
Family and friends will be received 11a.m.to 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025 with a memorial service at 1 p.m., at Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home 110 W. Main St. Luckey, OH. Officiating will be, Pr. Leroy Sholey. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery in Clyde, OH.
