PERRYSBURG -- Sharon Kay Miller, 61, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday February 18, 2024. She was born in Fremont, OH on January 2, 1963 to Thomas and Rita (Dolweck) Haley and was a graduate of Gibsonburg High School in 1981. She married David D. Miller Jr in 1991, and together they raised 2 children.
Sharon was very strong in her faith and was involved in the Focolare Movement. She also enjoyed attending mass and praying with family and friends. She chose to forego her career in accounting to stay home and raise her children as that was most important to her. Later in their school years, she volunteered at St. Rose Catholic School in the cafeteria and as a playground monitor. In more recent years, Sharon was active in the St. Rose Choir and Helping Hands. She was a homemaker for several Catholic parishes. She loved to ride bikes and play cards with family and friends. You could find her watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Duke Blue Devils. She also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes as well as tending to her flowers. Sharon will always be remembered for her infectious smile, kindness, and positive outlook on life. Her sense of humor and playful lighthearted nature will be missed by those who knew her.
Sharon is survived by her husband, David; children, Joshua and Angela; siblings, Susan (Rick) Kaemming, Michael (Diane) Haley, Kathleen (Dewey) Kirsch, Eileen (Bill) Whetsel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Rita.
