BOWLING GREEN -- Steven N. Riewaldt, 80, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away October 1, 2025. He was born March 9, 1945 in Rockford, Illinois to the Late Clarence Riewaldt and Marilyn (Hooker) Shaffer. He married Marilyn LeGalley on August 2, 1969 and she survives.
Steve served in the United States Army for 28 years. He obtained his Bachelors degree in Education from BGSU. He was a member of First Christian Church in Bowling Green where he served in a variety of capacities including property trustee and the men's group. He was a member of Bowling Green Kiwanis for 42 years and Boy Scouts for 50 years. Steve also was a member of the Reserve Officers Association and volunteered with Wheeled Meals in Wood County for over 30 years.
Along with his wife of 56 years, Marilyn, Steve is survived by his daughters Sara (Jeff) Meyer of Portage, Ohio and Amy (Dennis) Kline of Hilliard, Ohio, grandchildren Tyler and Logan, brother Seth (Sherrianne) Riewaldt and sisters Laurie Ann (Phil) Flanagan, Mary Bea (Larry) Ray and Martha Riewaldt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Beth Ann Riewaldt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday October 5, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Rd. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. His funeral service will be held on Monday October 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Union Hill Cemetery where full military honors will be rendered by AMVETS Honor Detail. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to First Christian Church which will be used for a new pool at Camp Christian.

Sending our prayers to all of Steve´s family. Whenever Steve stopped in the office at Bowling Green Christian Academy, he had a smile, a cheerful spirit, and kind words. We were always happy to have him drop by.
