Carl Quire Obituary

Funeral services for Carl T. Quire, 85, of Beechridge, were Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home.Burial followed in Beechridge Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Umholtz and Everett Hawkins officiated. Visitation was Monday evening 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Quire died Thursday at Shelby Farms Senior Care in Shelbyville. He was a US Army veteran, retired from the Department of Finance and was a farmer. Carl was a member of Beechridge Baptist Church and deacon.

Carl was the son of Lillie Mae and Leroy Quire and was preceded in death by wife Bonnie Quire, son John Anthony; sisters Jean Smith, Linda Travis, Brenda Travis and Hazel Miller; brothers Jim, Acie and Junior Quire.

Survivors include his sons Billy Ray ( Lavenna), Pleasureville, Michael Robin (Karen), Bagdad, Nathan Thomas Quire, Beechridge; daughter Carla Gayle Winans, Frankfort; brother Robert Kenneth Quire, Beechridge; ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
