Freeman Johnson Obituary
A Jacksonville, Kentucky native, he was a farmer and member and former Deacon of Indian Fork Baptist Church. He loved bowling, baseball and Kentucky men and women's basketball. He proudly served his country in the Army as a PFC during the Korean War. He died Sunday at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughters, Brenda Johnson Colvin (Gary), Bloomfield, Diane Johnson Luttrell (Randy), Frankfort; a son, David Wayne Johnson (Paula), Frankfort; a sister, Wilma Joyce Brown, Shelbyville; 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Clay and Pansy Bell Semones Johnson and his wife, Nancy.
Travis Johnson, David Paul Johnson, Joshua Pardi, Ryan Goet, Kenny Slusher, Philip Slusher, and William LeMay will serve all pallbearers. Wayne Shields, Jimmy Brown, Tommy Ruble, Jeff Allen, and Nichole Upchuch Goff will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 643 Teton Trail, Frankfort, Ky 40601.
