The beloved son of Amy (Cullum) Rogers Morgan and the late Marty Rogers was yet another victim of the Fentanyl overdose crisis in America at the young age of 31 years old. He was taken from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Caleb was born on January 17, 1992, in Fort Smith. He attended Central Public School until the eighth grade and then completed his education, graduating from Muldrow High School. He was involved in FFA, showing cattle and took welding classes at ICTC in Sallisaw. He competed in duck calling competitions and played baseball. After graduation, he attended Carl Albert State College for one semester, deciding then to pursue a career as a welder. He traveled to many locations working his career. He loved to fish, and his lifelong dream was to be a professional bass fisherman. Many of his days were spent on the lake with his brother Isaac. He also started his own bait making business WMD Swimbaits. He had recently started a new welding company, Top Flight LLC, with his girlfriend, Brytan Rhoades. Caleb was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his mother, Amy and stepdad Corky Morgan; brothers, Joshua Rogers (wife Rachel) and Isaac Rogers; nephew, Maverick Rogers and niece, Canaan Rogers; Grandma Marcia Cullum all of Hanson. Two stepbrothers, Coby Morgan (wife Leyna) and Bryce Morgan (wife Emily) and step Grandparents Harold and Beverly Cathey all of Muldrow. Girlfriend, Brytan Rhoades and her daughter Remy Rhoades of Fort Smith. Uncles and Aunts: Gary Don and Sheila Cullum of Hanson, Greg and Anna Cullum of Fort Gibson, Bradley and Marlene Cullum of San Antonia, Texas. Dennis and Rita Rogers of Sallisaw, Jimmy and Joetta Morrison of Rudy, Ark., Deanna Beard of Roland. Mickey and Cindy Rogers of El Paso, Texas, and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marty Rogers; grandparents, Elvin Cullum, Jr., Jesse and Helen Rogers; and Cousin Noah Sebastian Cullum.
Caleb's last words this side of heaven would be, "Don't do drugs and totally surrender your life to Christ."
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Muldrow First Assembly of God at 2 p.m., 203 W. Sequoyah Street in Muldrow.
