Charlene Christie Remigio
Dec. 12, 1972 – March 28, 2025

Funeral services for Charlene Christie Remigio, 52, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at House of Praise in Marble City.
Burial was at Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Remigio was born on Dec. 12, 1972, in Sallisaw to Clayton Christie and Fannie Blackbird Cheater. She died on Friday, March 28, 2025, in Sallisaw.
She was a home health aide. She enjoyed playing volleyball, cooking tamales and fried pies and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar Remigio of Fort Smith; one daughter, Emmy Remigio of the home; two sisters, Lorene and Georgie Roberts and Birdie Willson all of Sallisaw; two brothers, Jimmy and Josie Cheater and Marvin Cheater all of Marble City; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Pettit and Rosa Cheater; and two brothers, David and Daniel Cheater.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Roberts, Justin Roberts, Jeff Cheater, Matthew Buzzard, Jalen Pettit and Caleb Pettit.
