Celebration of Life services for Diane "Lady Di" Brock-Hudson, 67, of Roland, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow, with Pastor Andrew Robertson officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Fort Smith.
She was a graduate of Roland High School, where she played basketball and played softball with the Lincoln Recreation Center. Diane dedicated 36 years of faithful service to Whirlpool Corporation, where she was also an active union member and respected colleague. A devoted member of her church's Mission Department, she served faithfully in numerous roles including deaconess, treasurer, chairman of the usher board, and member of the kitchen, benevolence, and cleaning committees, as well as communion set-up. "Sis. Diane" gave of herself wherever she was needed, never waiting to be asked and always leading by quiet example, steadfast love, and a servant's heart.
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband James Hudson; her daughters, April Brock (Joey) of Fort Smith, Danté Johnson (Jeremy) of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Brittany L. Hudson (Casey) of Yukon.
She is also lovingly survived by her bonus daughters Shundia Hudson of Little Rock, Ark., Latricia Lewis (Charles) of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Cindy Barfield (Tyrone) of Texarkana, Texas, Thomas "Sonny" Brock Jr. (Mary) of Fort Smith, Kathy Brock-Davis (Greg) of Tulsa, Allen Brock of Cedar Park, Texas, and Randall Brock (Tarieta) of Roland; and her uncle Joe Shade of Muldrow; six grandchildren and six bonus grandchildren; and five bonus great grandchildren
Final Escorts will be Myron Brock, Jordan Brock, Brock Davis, Jeremy Johnson, Devin Styles Jones and L.J. Williams.
Honorary Escorts will be Greg Davis, Harold Green, Casey Green, Barrett Hudson, G.L. Hudson, Joey Jones and Ronnie Youngblood.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at the Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith. The family will gather to share memories and love from 6 to 8 p.m.
