Eula Clayton Obituary

Eula Lee Clayton
Dec. 1, 1941 – Oct. 3, 2025

Eula Lee Clayton, 83, of Edmond, passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to her family.
Born on Dec. 1, 1941, in Sallisaw, to Robert Orval Shoemaker and Josephine Foster Brooks Shoemaker, Eula graduated from Sallisaw High School with the class of 1960. Following graduation, she proudly served her country in the United States Army as a member of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) from 1960 to 1964.
Eula was united in marriage to Ronald James Clayton, and together they shared 58 years until his passing on April 26, 2021. Their life together took them many places, with the couple residing for many years in Louisiana and Tennessee before Eula moved to Oklahoma in 2021, with her daughter and son-in-law, Jeffrey LeBoeuf.
She is survived by her children, Ronda LeBoeuf of Edmond and Bert Clayton of North Charleston, South Carolina; her sisters, Lavona Shoemaker and Robbie Farrell, both of Sallisaw; six grandchildren, Allison, Sarah, Madeline, Olivia, Bridget and Mary; and many other beloved family members and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness.
Eula's memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
