Jim Lawrence Oliver

Graveside services for Jim Lawrence Oliver, 67, of Gore, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Gum Springs Cemetery in Gore under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Oliver was born on June 8, 1956, in Fort Bragg, N.C., to William Cassie Oliver and Ruby Ellen (Stevens) Oliver. He died on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, in Gore.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Christian faith. He enjoyed building and working with wood.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Ruth (Morrison) Long; one son, Daniel Kelly of Pryor; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Calvin Huff; and a grandson.
Pallbearers were John Lauderdale, Jeremy Long, Ricky James, Jordan Cole, Roger James, Stewart Long, Charlie Huff and Mike Perryman.
