Annette Estelle Davis, 66, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025 in Geneva, IL surrounded by her sons. Annette was born on September 27, 1958 to Louis and Marjorie (Hampton) Maloy in Spring Valley, IL.
Annette is survived by her two sons: William (Anne) Davis of Plano, IL and Luke (Shana) Davis of La Moille, IL; brother, Tom (Joanne) Maloy of Mendota, IL and five grandchildren: Charli, Rosie, and Calum Davis, Sid Davis, and Jazlyn Kerchner.
In addition to her parents, Annette is preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Janie and Donnie Williams and infant brother Michael.
There will be a memorial visitation 4:00 - 7:00 PM Wed. Oct. 1, 2025 at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home in Mendota. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 204 S. Main Street, La Moille, IL. Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery in La Moille at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to either the Abigail Women's Center of Mendota or the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Visit www.horner-merritt.com to sign the online guest book.

Two home made throws to keep her warm when she read her books, a retirement gift. Both of them represented her so well with all the love and hard work she did everyday. She made days better for so many students and adults. She was always able to make my day a little brighter. My mentor my friend, she will truly be missed.

Annette loved her boys Will and Luke VERY much. She loved her daughter-in-laws and her 5 wonderful grandchildren!

Mrs. Davis was my teacher for three years at Pinesdale Elementary School from 1988 to 1991 in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a very sweet and kind lady.
