A Celebration of Life service for Lillian "Joyce" Thacker-Alberty, 81, of Bentonville, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was born on July 29, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond Thacker and Hazek (Kirk) Thacker. She died on Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, in Bentonville.
She enjoyed dancing, country music and gardening.
Survivors include her children, Karen Gregory-Day, Jonathan Wells and Michael Shane Hodges; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Iva Sue Thacker-Casinger; and one daughter, Kathy Gregory.
