Graveside Service for Shirley Parkerson Brannon, 83 of Gans, will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on November 19, 1941 in Yale, Oklahoma to Lottie Louise (Bledsoe) McKinney and Harold Rudolph McKinney and passed away on May 22, 2025 in Gans, Oklahoma.
She was married to Kenneth Louis Brannon on December 8, 1991 in Eureka Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2011.
Shirley was a Landman for OneOK Gas Company in Tulsa and a member of First Baptist Church, Fort Smith, Ark. She and her husband Ken enjoyed traveling and raising race horses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, hosting get-togethers for family and friends, especially on The 4th of July and Christmas.
Survivors are one daughter, Dana Parkerson and Steven Maynard of Gans; two step-sons, Kenneth Wayne Brannon and Regina of Gans and Kevin Ray Brannon and Jennifer of Muldrow; six grandchildren, Cody Todd Parkerson and Kesha, Dannon Cash Parkerson, Rebecca Dawn Karnes and Taylor, Rachel May Brannon, Beau Brannon and Caitlyn and Kale Brannon and Kacy; six great-grandchildren, Rynlee, Brannon, Baylor, Breck, Baker and Collins; one brother, Butch McKinney of Broken Arrow; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Robert Parkerson and Kenneth Louis Brannon; her parents, Ralph and Louise McKinney, and one brother: Jerry McKinney.
Visitation will be 10-8pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home - Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6-7pm.
