Shirley Ann Pettigrew
Aug. 2, 1937 – Oct. 8, 2025

Shirley Ann Pettigrew, 88, of Fort Smith, Ark. passed away on Wednesday Oct. 8, 2025, in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Paris, Ark., to Dave and Edith (Pettigrew) Bideler.
She worked for Cintas.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years 11 months, Tom Pettigrew; two daughters, Rebekah Armer and her husband Rick of Fort Smith and Edith Justice of Fort Smith; three sons, Tommy Pettigrew and his wife, Rita of Huntington, Steven Pettigrew of Fort Smith and Scott Pettigrew and his wife, Heather of Booneville; two sisters, Billie Riley of Muldrow and Shannon Robertson and her husband, Phillip of Roland; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
Funeral service will be 1p.m. Friday Oct. 17, 2025, at Woodland Hills Church in Roland with burial in Seabolt Cemetery at Nicut under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Aaron, Jeremy and Cayden Ruckman, Zachary Strong, Henry, Dalton and Andrew Pettigrew and Ben Dunlap.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home, Van Buren, Ark.
