Aage Tage Moller
10/18/1930 - 06/30/2025
Aage Tage Moller beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away on June 30, 2025 at the age of 94. He was surrounded by his wife, Grethe Moller, and family.
Aage was born October 18, 1930 in Copenhagen, Denmark to Oscar and Karin Moller. He studied and became an electrician. On July 3rd, 1954 he met his wife, Grethe, at a dance in Denmark. They were married 5 months later on January 15, 1955. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
The two immigrated to the United States in 1960 with their two children, Dianette and Rune. Aage worked as a travelling electrician to make money to support his family. The pair later bought their first home together in Fiesta Gardens in San Mateo, California where they became parents again to their second daughter, Lene. In 1965 they became U.S. citizens, and a few years later they had their fourth and final child, Tina. During this time, Aage joined Local 617 IBEW and stayed with the electricians' union until he retired at the age of 62. Aage was part of the Rebild's association where they enjoyed outings together. Rebild is a Danish American group.
Aage enjoyed being a grandfather. He had seven grandchildren in total: Nicole, Jacob, Jessica, Shaylynn, Keaton, Tyler, and Connor. He loved spending time and talking with them. He had five great-grandchildren: Avery, Kalieanne, Kai, Bandon, and Greysin.
Aage enjoyed travelling and seeing the United States of America. He loved to swim and read. He loved to study history. He always kept up to date on the news through the newspaper or TV. He loved to garden, especially roses. He enjoyed watching NFL football and soccer. When he was younger, he was in a rowing club in Denmark.
Aage and his wife, Grethe, travelled the world and went to many places. Aage's favorite place to visit was Paris.
Aage is survived by his wife of 70 years, Grethe; his daughter, Dianette Washer; his son, Rune Moller; his daughter, Lene Moller; his daughter, Tina Hunt and her husband, John; his grandchildren, Nicole Moller, Jessica Washer, Keaton Mollereckhoff, Tyler Hunt, and Connor Hunt; His grandson, Jacob Moller, and granddaughter-in-law, Jessica; His granddaughter, Shaylynn Focht, and grandson-in-law, Travis; his great-grandchildren, Avery, Kalieanne, Kai, Bandon, and Greysin.
