Albert Bartal Obituary
May 23, 1982 - April 17, 2018
Albert Bartal is a native San Franciscan.He was born, raised and educated in the city.
After his upbringing in the Bay Area, Al decided to join the Marines. In the Marines he went through boot-camp at Camp Pendelton and was stationed in Japan and Iraq. During his service he was awarded several combat ribbons, received certificates and letters of appreciation and was also promoted through to the rank of Sergeant. During his service, Al met Katherine, she would become his wife and also the mother to their daughter Elizabeth.
After his service in the Marines, Al was a Fire Fighter with the CAL FIRE in the San Mateo – Santa Cruz Unit.
During his off hours Al divided his time between Sacramento, where his wife and child live; and San Francisco, where his friends and family live.
A service will be held Saturday April 28 at 1130am pronto at Church of the Highlands, San Bruno, CA

I knew Al Sr. well and it's too bad things went wrong for Al Jr, whom I met. The Bartals were very nice people and friendly. These are people that loved life and the people they interacted with in the workplace and beyond.
