Albert J. Lee

Albert J. Lee Jan. 22, 1926 - Oct. 13, 2009 Passed away peacefully on Oct. 13, 2009 at the age of 83. He is survived by his sister Betty M. Bean; husband to the late Ruth (Louie) Lee and Fay (Kwan) Lee, sons; Mr. Anthony (Lorene) Lee, Mr. Anderson (Michelle) Lee, Allen Lee; daughters, Angela Lee and Mrs. Alice (Daniel) Hom. The grandchildren are Andrea Louie, Melissa Lee, Ryan Lee, Brian Lee, Garrett Hom, Kristine Tazel, Lindsey Hom, Meghan Hom and Olivia Hom. Albert was born in China and came to the U.S. at a young age. He served in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine and was Honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He married Ruth Lee in 1954 but she passed away after giving birth to twins. A few years later he met and married Fay Kwan and had 2 more children. He worked for the Federal Government in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands for some years and LOVED it because he would always talk about it later. After coming back to the states he worked for the Dept. of Defense on Treasure Island as a maintenance mechanic. He retired with 30 plus years. In 1972 he was made a Master Mason by the Chinese Acacia Club at Justice Lodge #549 and in 1977 he became their Lodge Master. In 1985 he affiliated with Lodge # 120. Being an avid sportsman he belonged to the Shriner's Rod and Gun Club. He also enjoyed taking he family camping, fishing, swimming,and hunting. He was proud of all his achievements. Service will be at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. Daly City Nov.1, 10am.
