Albert Steiner Obituary

Albert A. Steiner, M.D. Dec. 6, 1916 - Mar. 12, 2012 In San Francisco. Beloved husband of Louise Steiner for 65 years; loving father of Linda (Mark) Schuman, Mark (Mary) Steiner; and Keith Steiner (deceased); adored grandfather of Emily and Keith Schuman and Alissa, Katie and Scott Steiner. Born in Toronto, Canada, Dr. Steiner graduated from University of Toronto Medical School. He served as an officer and physician in Europe in the U.S. Army during WWII. Dr. Steiner was an eye physician and surgeon in San Francisco for 50 years, and was Chief of Staff at Green's Eye Hospital and then in private practice. Private services were held at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park in Colma. Donations to the Keith Evan Steiner Memorial Library Fund at JFCS, 2150 Post St., San Francisco, 94115, preferred.

I will miss your smiling face and our small talks over our Saturday morning breakfast. Rest in peace Dr Steiner. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life. I will always remember you.
