ALFRED SIMIONATO Obituary
Alfred Simionato
Devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather left this life to join his beloved wife, Diana, on October 27, 2012 at the age of 86.
Born in San Francisco to Rose and Peter Simionato he grew up in North Beach. Al attended Commerce High School and graduated from USF in 1951.
Al married Diana Gemignani in 1947. They were married until her death in 1991.
Al is survived by his children Dianne Balzer (Tony), Peter Simionato (Roselyn) Cindy Moses (John); 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Services are planned for Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Novato. Visitation will be after 4:00, November 2, 2012 @ Keaton's Novato. Thoughts are welcomed from family and friends 7:00 - 8:00.
The family is very grateful for the loving care provided by Elmer Vecina and Hospice by the Bay during Al's, final days.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice by the Bay - Marin County.

Dianne,Peter Cindy and familiies.
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I still remember very clearly his chaperoning us on a trip to Candlestick to see the Giants game and many other memories of times at St Thomas. prayers for all of you at this time. God Bless you all

TO: The Simionato Family... Wow! Your Dad was, 'someone wonderfull'. My sincere condolences to the entire family.
I remember your Dad from the days at Jay's Pharmacy-yes,
when he came by to see your Uncle, Jim. I remember your Mom & your Grandparents very well too! I do go back. What a nice family & may God be with you all at this time of loss.

Al and Diana were simply Mr. & Mrs. St. Thomas Apostle. Their loving example of life influenced all the children of the parish. I will be grateful forever for his guidance. Mr. Simionato will live in my heart always. Love and prayers go out to Pete, Diane, and Cindy.

Diana, I just learned of your dad's passing. I will aways remember Al rooting on the CYO basketball team and having kind words after every game. We pray that you and your family find strength during this difficult time.
