Alfredo d'Almeida Obituary

Alfredo Noel d'Almeida
December 22, 1940 - February 8, 2024
Alfredo Noel d'Almeida of Daly City affectionately known as "Al," passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on February 8, 2024. Surrounded by his loved ones, Alfredo departed after a battle with pneumonia. His struggle with dementia was worsened by the isolating effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, which required him to stop his routine social tennis games with friends, marking a rapid decline in his health.
Alfredo will forever be cherished and remembered on the tennis courts, where he found joy in the camaraderie of the game and in forging lasting friendships.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife, Margaret; his son, Terence; his daughter-in-law, Janine; and three adoring grandchildren, Justin, Tristan and Sophia, who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.
His funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine in South San Francisco on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. Following the Mass, Alfredo will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, where he will find eternal peace.
As we bid farewell to Alfredo, may we find solace in the memories we shared and the enduring impact he made on our lives. Rest in peace, dear Al, your spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us always.
