Alice Sherry

Alice Sherry Born April 21, 1918 in San Francisco. Alice, the daughter of Eleanor and William Anselm Keegan, passed away on February 23, 2009. Alice was raised, with her brother Bill, in the Haight-Ashbury district. She graduated from Polytechnic High School where she made many life long friends. She married Jack Sherry of San Francisco in 1938 and their son John was born in 1939. Alice worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for various organizations including Catholic Social Services of Marin County. She spent the last third of her life in Bel Marin Keys, Novato, where she and Jack enjoyed their later years. Alice is survived by her son John, of Oakland. Memorial will be private.
