Very sorry to hear about Allison's passing! She was a beautiful light in this city - so funny, bright and caring. Deepest condolences to her family and loved ones.

Allison and I were friends, neighbors and colleagues for 24 years. She was so smart, easy to talk with, a delightful companion and a gifted writer. She hired me now and then to write for her and even gave me one of her clients. She took me to the ER in 2014 when i thought I was having a heart attack and sat with me for hours. We looked out for each other in the building. She was a generous, insightful soul whose spirit will always be with me. I miss her laugh already.
