Amanda Rubio Obituary

Amanda Sanchez Rubio

Amanda Rubio, was born on September 13, 1916 in the Philippines and passed away on July 7th 2016, just two months shy of her 100th birthday. She was the beloved mother of Fe Bataclan, Ida Reyes, Oscar Rubio, Robert Rubio and Nora Gonzales. She will be greatly missed by all her family.

Amanda loved listening to music, enjoyed a garden full of colorful flowers, was a die-hard wrestling fan, enjoyed watching action packed movies and playing blackjack, was always a loyal sports fanatic, and most of all cherished spending time with her family. She always looked forward to the next family gathering. She was also a proud member of the Makati Poblacion Club for more than 10 years. She was the matriarch and foundation of our family and left this Earth with a piece of our hearts.

Family and friends may visit Sunday 7/17/2016 from 4pm – 9pm with a Vigil Service at 6pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Avenue Daly City). A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 7/18/2016 at 10:30am at Saint Augustine Church (3700 Callan Blvd, South San Francisco CA). The Committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission Road, Colma.
