July 10, 1938 - May 11, 2013
Amelia joined her loving parents John and Isabel Ricafort, her brother John Jr. and her grandfather Tito C. Bingil in comfort and peace. She passed away surrounded by her loving family; her sons Donald (Melissa) Fields and John (Deborah) Fields, grandchildren Donald (Rachel), Stacey (Jermaine), Erica (Jaime), Alex, and great grandchildren Nathan, Natalia, Jakai, Amelia, Mateo, Manaiya. She was a beloved aunt to Billy, John Raymond, Vince and Vance, many grandnephews and grandnieces, cousin to Adele and many others, and dear friend to Betty, Gail, Maxine, Joanne (goddaughter) and many gal pals.
Amelia is most remembered for her grace, deep kindness and quiet strength. She cared deeply about raising a strong family grounded in values and held together by love. She was a sweet soul to all who were blessed to meet her. Amelia will be deeply missed and always cherished.
Amelia is a native San Franciscan, Balboa graduate ('56) and proudly carried on her Filipino heritage through service to the Gran Oriente Filipino. She was a dedicated employee of 25 years to Millberry Union at UCSF and in her final days was compassionately and kindly cared for by UCSF and Hospice by the Bay.

Erica and Natalia,
We were so shocked to hear about your Grandma/Great Grandma's passing.
She was a very warm and endearing lady. I really enjoyed our conversations, in the stands, while cheering on the 4th Grade St. John's Volleyball and Daly City Basketball teams. I will miss her smile and easy going manner.
Please remember, especially at this time, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
