To the entire Ver Family: Please accept our most sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. Mr. Ver's oldest son, Joe and I were classmates and friends both at St. Ignatius College Prep and USF. Mr. and Mrs. Ver were always exceptionally warm and welcoming to everyone that entered their home. My dad and Mr. Ver worked side by side on the annual St. Ignatius Father's Club Auction. They were charged with selling $100 Cadillac tickets. A difficult ask, especially in those days, but together with some other dads they were able to sell nearly 500 tickets! From this relationship at SI my dad became good friends with Mr. Ver. They were both, hard working immigrants enjoying beautiful families and the wonderful life, which the USA had to offer. They were both very successful executives in International Banking, but this was secondary as their families always came first. Education was very important to them. I am certain Mr. Ver was exceptionally proud of his children's accomplishments, as he should be.
Godspeed Mr. Ver - please say hi to my dad!

He was a gentlemen’s gentleman, he was so special to my family and many others. Lived his sense of humor and his dedication to his wife and kids. RIP and have a grand reunion with Bea and the rest of the gang. He is definitely an Angel. May God wrap his loving arms around his loved ones for comfort. ❤
