Andrea L. "Sandy" Wester (née Marty) In San Francisco May 9, 2007 at the age of 77. Dearly beloved wife of John J. Wester. Loving mother of Marc Wester of Santa Barbara and the late Anne Wester. Devoted grandmother of Madeleine Wester. Dear sister of Wilna Bordachar and Andre J. Marty. Sister-in-law of Dominique Bordachar; Maureen Marty; Paulette Engler and husband, Don, and their children Luc and Seth Chamberlin. Also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews here and in France. A native of San Francisco. Graduated from grammar school and high school at Notre Dame des Victoires. An alumna of Lone Mountain College. A kind woman of great intelligence and integrity, she was devoted to her daughter Anne, who she cared for and protected for 33 years (post-accident). She taught elementary school for six years, after which she worked with her husband John in their mortgage business until they retired in 1999. They enjoyed traveling extensively through the U.S. and many foreign countries. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, Kirsten Guthrie, and all who knew her. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass Wed, May 16 at 10AM at the Church of Notre Dame des Victoires, followed by the Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
