Angela Myrick Mitchell

Angela (Mia) Myrick Mitchell Angela (Mia) Flagg Myrick Mitchell died August 23, 2008 in Berkeley. She was born in Salem, MA; attended Thayer Academy and Oberlin College. In 1956 she moved to CA. Mia was funny, wise, and beautiful. Art from all cultures, classical music, the English language, newspapers and books of all sorts were profoundly interesting to her. She is survived by Matthew Mitchell, her husband of 47 years, who cared for her during her long illness with tenderness and devotion; her beloved children Hannah and David, sister Priscilla (Kate) Diamond, and many other much-loved family members and dear friends.
