Anneliese Bernauer Obituary

Anneliese Bernauer
02/26/1938 - 07/12/2025
Anneliese "Lisa" passed peacefully surrounded by friends. Born in St. Polten, Austria. Lisa made her home in Visitacion Valley for 50 years and retired from Del Monte accounting.
She had a passion for dogs and cats and volunteered at the SF SPCA Feral Cat TNR Program for more than 30 years. Lisa also volunteered as a Big Sister in San Francisco and became lifelong family to her "little sisters."
Lisa will be missed by her niece, Sylvia Ziegelwagner of Vienna, Austria, and her many friends and neighbors.
Donations in Lisa's memory can be made to the San Francisco SPCA.
