Antonio Ciro Accardo passed away on February 9, 2022, in Walnut Creek, California, with his children and his wife at his side.
Antonio was born on February 24, 1939, in Naples, Italy, to Pasquale and Carmela (Perna) Accardo. Antonio immigrated to San Francisco in 1960 to help his uncle run Villa Romana Ristorante & Pizzeria (closed in 2014) when Antonio & Giulia Retired.
During his tenure in the restaurant business, Antonio had run a total of 3 Restaurants- Villa Romana, the original SF Irving Street Location (1960-2014), Frank's Italian Restaurant in Millbrae (1965-1977) and Villa Romana San Rafael (1977-1987). Upon retirement, Antonio thoroughly enjoyed spending most of his time with his 6 "Best" Grandchildren.
Antonio was a devoted Father to Antonio Accardo Jr. and Laura (Accardo) Lavelle, beloved Husband to Giulia Accardo, and Adoring Grandfather to his 6 Grandchildren: Antonio Accardo III, Angelo Accardo, Alessandro Accardo, Giuseppe Lavelle, Adriano Accardo, And Lorenzo Lavelle.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 18th beginning at 4pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary 500 Westlake Ave. in Daly City where a Rosary will begin at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 19th at 10am at St. Anne of the Sunset, 850 Judah St. in San Francisco. Antonio will be laid to rest at the Italian Cemetery in Colma.
The Family deeply appreciates the outpouring of support and consolation which has followed Antonio's passing. Donations in his memory may be made to Saint Judes.

Condolences for the loss of your patriarch, Mama Giulia, Tony & Laura.
Recently learned this sad news.
I can still envision Tony Sr's classic wave while making pizza & smiling the multitude of times our girl group dined there (1990's) before moving to the North Bay.
Truly some of the best memories were made at Villa Romana.
May God rest his soul & bless your families.
