Antonio Lorenzoni Obituary

Antonio Lorenzoni
September 9, 1931 ~ February 19, 2021
Antonio was a great family man, an avid hunter and a fisherman who loved his garden. He was dearly loved by his family. He worked 35 years as a driver and foreman for Pellegrini Winery, had many friends and was loved by all who knew him.
Tony enjoyed many trips to Italy with his wife, Anna, to regularly visit family and friends. He will be forever loved and missed by all of us. Preceded in death by his son Peter, he leaves behind his wife, Anna, daughter, Diana Price, son-in-law Tim Price, and his adoring granddaughter, Daniela.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions attendance is limited. Private committal at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
Condolences may be sent c/o Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive, Millbrae, CA 94030.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to your favorite charities.

I’ve said all this before and more:
I don’t like many people, but I liked and loved Grandpa. Not many folks can say that one of their favorite people to spend time with was their grandfather, but I could. He was indeed a blast to visit, but he was also the most generous person I knew; I never wanted or needed anything because Grandpa offered me everything. Whether it was books for school, a terrible joke or a sorely-needed espresso, he was there offering it--and doing so daily.
I am so incredibly lucky to have known him for as long as and as well as I did, and I hope he can hear my million “thank you”s for everything he’s ever done for me.
Nonno, tu e Nonna mi avete educato l’importanza della famiglia e l’apprezzamento per tutto ciò che la vita offre. Grazie, dal profondo del mio cuore.

My Dad#2, a steady source of love, encouragement and interest in all things family. I surely lucked out with a father in law like Tony. Who else could’ve taught me the ins and outs of a truly great barbecue? (Or tried to teach me, at least.) Enjoy that great grille in the sky, and let us know how you’re doing in heaven with your son Peter. You will always be in my heart.
