Art Luna was a wonderful man, brother-in-law, husband, father, friend, and one bad hombre. He is always in our hearts.

Had the honor and privilege to be his teammate at ALHS. He always had a smile on his face. But he was all business on the field. An "All-City "stand out back in the day.
The Mustang Nation just lost a legend.
RIP my friend.

Art was my teammate and friend at Lincoln. I lined up next to him on the offensive line at TE. I'll always remember him as a kind, soft spoken person who enjoyed a good laugh. Yet, he was a ferocious competitor who rarely lost a battle on the field. We opened a lot of holes for running backs together. I last saw him at his induction to the Lincoln Sports Hall of Fame dinner. May he rest in peace.

To my beautiful dad, words can't express how much you mean to me, and the forever impact you had on my life. You are so accomplished, and yet, at this moment, one thing stands out - your love. You taught me how to love because you loved us unconditionally. You were my safe space, my joy, and my inspiration. I am so lucky you are my dad. Losing you is heartbreaking. I will never forget our walks, coffee chats, your humor, and your laugh. I will never forget you. Please visit me often and let me know if you are okay. Until we meet again, I love you beyond words, Katie

Art was one of the of the best in our ALHS class of Boomers. He and his personality walked the halls with such strength and joy, always the smile...except on the fierce playing field of the Mustangs. My heart and prayers are with you all.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Art at Cable Cars. After retiring I joined his weekly walking group. He was a good man, the salt of the earth!

Uncle Art you will be missed dearly. Our family is heartbroken by the thought of not having you around. You were an amazing role model. You were kind, hard working, funny, a loving father and husband. May our family find comfort in knowing you are at peace now. Fly high and my your feet run through the skies of heaven! Love today and always your niece
