Beverly,

My heart goes out to you with the loss of your life partner, Gus. He is a good man and most certainly part of "the greatest generation". The selfless sacrifice of the generation may never be repeated, And we all owe a sincere debt of gratitude to them. Gus covered a lot of ground during his life and added value to everything he touched in life. His values are something from another day and will be dearly missed, however, I know he passed some of those along to his children and I feel his presence always through John. You should be proud to have had such a wonderful partner, so with that, his passing is even more sad. To John, Larry and Gary; I am truly sorry for your loss and hope your fond memories and good times comfort you in the days to come. Gus will always be with you in your heart and mind and his immortality is guaranteed through each of you and your children.
To John, Debbie, Jason & Gina;
My tears, prayers and sympathies go out to you now as you mourn the loss of a loving father and grandfather.

Love,
Danny & Sandy Murtagh

Dear Bev and family,
I just heard about Gus's passing via email from Sammy and Paul. I'm sorry for your family's loss. It was fortuitous that I sat across from you and him at Ruggiero wedding in Sacramento in Oct 2008 when we were able to visit together. My fondest memory of Gus is when he returned safely from WWII and told us about his experiences in France. I also remember your lovely wedding. My prayers and thoughts are with you and family. Blessings, Cousin Dollie
