Augusta Rauchwerger Obituary

Augusta Gisela Rauchwerger Passed away peacefully on October 29 at the age of 95. She was born in Slovakia and went to Ecuador in 1939. She raised her family there and in Colombia. She and family then emigrated to the United States. Augusta was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Ernest Rauchwerger. Survived by her brother Yehuda (Tova) Talmon of Israel; sons George (Diane), Tom (Barbara), and daughter Kathy (Peter) Reynolds; Loving grandchildren Lisa (Kaila) Rauchwerger, Michael (Elisheva) Rauchwerger, Adina (Brian) Chaikelson, Amy Reynolds, Daniel Rauchwerger, Ben Reynolds, Judy Reynolds. Augusta was a much admired and adored music librarian at the College of San Mateo. Funeral and services this Sunday at 2pm, Hills of Eternity, Colma.
