I've known Barbara the past 9 years through my work at Head-Royce, formerly Anna Head where Barbara was a Class of 1941 graduate. She will be greatly missed in the Anna Head/Head-Royce Community. Condolences to the entire family.

I grew up knowing the delightful Barbara Braund Collins Allen- she and Glenn were dear, close friends of my mother and father, Dick and Avis Logan. In the early 1980's, my first husband and I rented a place from Barbara...she was a bright star and ever-effervescent person. I am so saddened by her loss; I remember her dad, Mr. Braund and her daughter, Debbie- please know how much my family loved your mom and dad. Tracy Logan

My mother Patricia Anne Bernard, absolutely adored your mother. She called me yesterday afternoon to tell me that she had read the notice in the SF Chronicle. Mother said that Barbara exhumed beauty and grace always. She was a gracious host with a FABULOUS personality, always genuine and happy. She will miss her.
