Barbara Dickie, better known as Joan Dickie, was born to Marcel and Alice Bouysou in San Francisco, CA. She graduated from San Jose State and took Masters courses and UC Berkeley. She was married to Walter Murray Dickie Jr. in 1959 until his death in 1999. Joan moved to Piedmont from Berkeley in 1965 and has been a Piedmont resident ever since then. Joan was a wonderful loving mother and wife who is survived by her three sons, Walter Murray Dickie III of Portland, OR, Stephen Alexander Dickie of Lodi, CA, and Andrew Johnson Dickie, of Rio Vista, CA. She had two grandchildren, Valerie Dickie, the daughter of Walter and Cassandra Dickie, the daughter of Stephen.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
