Barbara Golding Obituary

Barbara Golding
June 22, 1933 - July 28, 2022
Born in San Francisco in 1933, Barbara Golding passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She is survived by her brother Chris Rozales, son & son-in-law John Golding & Martin Mass, son & daughter-in-law Jim & Lily Golding, daughter Lois Caldeira, grandchildren Tony & Michelle Caldeira, Nick & Phil Golding, Rick Caldeira, along with three great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
For almost 68 years Barbara was married to Ernie Golding, who passed away 3 years ago. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family and going on road trips with Ernie to visit many friends. Also, she enjoyed attending San Francisco Umpire Association dinners and activities, San Francisco Old Timers' Association activities and the Marino Peretti boat trips and crab feeds. It brought her much joy to have her grandson's friends join in and keep her feeling young.
After all three children started attending school, Barbara started working at See's Candies in South San Francisco as temporary holiday help. After a couple years, she went full-time and had a 25-year career at See's, having managed stores in South San Francisco, San Bruno and Sunnyvale.
At Barbara's request, there will be no funeral service. Donations in Barbara's name can be made to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital online (stjude.org) or by mail to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

It was very much a pleasure of knowing such a great happy and loving lady. Barbara will be missed by both the Baseball Old Timers and Marino Pieretti Group.
