Like a shooting star you see once in a lifetime. The kind that trails a beautiful show as it glides on a wide arc across the night sky. The one that leaves you in awe. That's the one. On February 6, following a sudden stroke, Barbara passed away peacefully in her home with her loving family by her side. Such a beautiful woman, what a magnificent life. Her kindness and generous spirit touched so many. A wife of 54 years to Robert; steadfast and resolute, caring and consoling, till death do us part. A consummate mother; mindful, thoughtful, of warm heart and gentle touch, a harbor. A grandmother eight times, loving, generous and committed. To Nancy Haleston, a sister and a best friend combined. World traveler all through life, touching five continents and adventurously experiencing all she could. Faithful fan of her San Francisco 49ers, through the swirling winds of Candlestick Park. A smart business woman for nearly three decades, infusing the Bay Area interior design scene at Robert Brian Company with her love and passion of Japanese culture. A classy woman with an understated style and grace. Connecting with all walks of life. Living life. Smiling through life. Embracing life. All in that incredible flash across the sky. So blessed are those who bore witness to that glorious beautiful moment. On behalf of all that have been fortunate to know and love you, thank you Barbara.
