Barbara Langendorf Obituary

Barbara Moore Langendorf

Nov 23, 1920 - Oct 24, 2014

Barbara Belle Laddon was born in Los Angeles, and raised in San Francisco. A graduate of Lowell High School, University of the Pacific and San Francisco State University, she spent 32 years as a teacher and principal in the San Francisco United School District, primarily at Anza and Frank McCoppin schools.
She married her beloved husband Charles S. Moore in 1949 and they spent 50 wonderful years together until his death in 1999. She is survived by her husband Donald Langendorf, and was the dear mother and stepmother of Robert Allen Moore (Susan), Cheryll Moore Powers (George), and Cynthia Langendorf (Edie); adored grandmother of Cassidy Moore (David), Greg Ubaldi (Karen), Diane Powers Shearin (John) and Angela Stark Powers (Elizabeth); loving great grandmother of Sotia Campos, Nicole, Enzo and Athena Ubaldi, Katie Shearin, and Leo and Charles Stark Powers.
Barbara traveled extensively, played a savvy game of Bridge, enjoyed a good game of tennis, and danced her way around the world in enviable style. A life well lived, she will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations, if any, to a favorite charity.
