I have known Ben for several years...what a cutie he was as a young child. He made me giggle quite a bit with his silly stories and how he had a mishap at one of the field trips we took. We went to Blackberry Farms..'somebody spilled cheese nachos on my towel and I don't even know who it is!'He was around 7 then. I use to see him off and on after that... yelling out..'Ben!' and he would always look over and wave. Sweet kid....Rest in Peace dear boy.

Ben was my friend. I am Kenny and Christina's grandma. Ben was Kenny's room mate for a while earlier this year. Everytime I went to visit them Ben was so nice to me I was happy he was at Kennys. He came to see me at my friend Kathleens house and visited with her and I often. He and I and Kenny would talk about music and how much they enjoyed music. Ben told me his parents helped him know and love music and he explained the intricacies of Asian music to me. He and Kenny made a CD and playesd it for me - they were pretty good. His enthusiasm for music struck me as so real and so wonderful for him. Ben went to the Harry's Hofbrau with Kenny and I to have dinner with my sister and her husband several times. Ben and Kenny were a lot of fun and were so accepting of my company I felt like I was 20 again (even though I am +60 now). I mourn the loss of Ben. I will always think of him with fondness and happy memories for the times we shared.
Mr. and Mrs. Abrams, please call me anytime if you want to talk - I would consider it a priveledge to share happy memories with you (248-615-9875).
with my sincere regrets and heartfelt sympathy,

I first met Ben back at Arundel, it's hard to believe that he's gone. He was always extremely nice to me, and I never saw him speak an unkind word to anyone. This is a sad day, and a huge loss; may he rest in peace.

ben was one of my best friends in junior high, and although we haven't talked or hung out together much recently, he has always remained one of my favorite people. he was so funny, smart, and supportive to me when i was going through rough times. he helped me set up my first email account and pick out parts for my first skateboard. we traded poetry and i collected some of the drawings he did in middle school. we went to art galleries together a few times, went trick or treating, hung out at our friend sean's house, i remember him coming to some of my church activities & i went to his bar mitzvah. i also remember him coming over to my house to hang out sometimes and we would prank call people, watch tv, listen to music and do a bunch of other silly stuff. we even burned our hands with incense for like a friends forever pact. haha. i miss that guy, wish we hadn't drifted apart.

ben, i can't believe it. i don't really know what to say, i knew you since elementary school, you were such a goofball, so funny, and had great hair. i regret that i didn't get the chance to really really know you. i've only heard great things, and i wish you were still here. i know you are in a better place, probably skateboarding and playing music. im just so shocked. you were so young. my thoughts and prayers are with the abrams family. rest in peace ben. love always alicia

He always skated with me when i was younger. He got me into music, he showed me how to play bass. Ben completely changed my life. In a very positive way. I love him and miss him very much.

I couldnt think of a nicer, kinder, and sweeter soul then Ben Abrams. I remember our skating trips to downtown San Mateo and he was always the best one out there, always with a smile on his face with his cute curly hair. :)It still isnt real that he's gone, and I would have never thought... We all love you Ben, and you live on in all of our hearts.

The memories go all the way back to elementary school, skating, playing music, going to concerts, attempting our own comedy radio show, designing websites, or even just watching Kids in the Hall with some seltzer water and a bagel dog. Aside from particular events his great sense of humor, his genuine concern for others were traits that never wavered, Ben was an extremely intelligent individual whom excelled at just about anything he applied himself to. We have had some really good times together and I know this to be the sentiment of all who have shared in his life. Ben is deeply missed.

I am not sure what to say, I still can't believe Ben is gone. I only knew him briefly but he was a great guy and a good friend to those who knew him. I'll remember him always and I am thankful I got to meet him while he was with us.

I just received word from Barbara Wampner. I remember Mr. Libet very well. I am Julian's old friend, Shelley Reid, now living in the Bay Area. Please accept my sympathy, and give my greetings to Mrs. Libet, Julian, and Maureen. The Libets brought me to hear Theresa Berganza when I was at Burlingame High School. The concert had a huge effect on me, and I went on later to study singing for many years. Again, my best wishes, and hopes to be touch again. Shelley Reid MacAllister
You'll always be in our hearts. We love you and miss you.
